About Payal Arora, Founder & CEO

Health coaching wasn't something that I had set out to do out of college or even out of grad school.  I was on a different path for my career - first in Finance as an investment banker, then in Non-Profit working with children, then in Marketing for 8 years.  But when I had kids of my own, a lot changed, including my priorities.  I was passionate about health, fitness and wellness.  I knew too well that in order to live the best life possible, you had to be as healthy as possible.  I was set on finding something that put my passion into practice, that could help other women like me.  I know women are the cornerstone of so much - their families, their societies, many work places.  And I also know that we all have gifts to share with the world, but without our health as a foundation, those gifts are often wasted.  We have to feel our best to give our best, and that's what I wanted to help women do and be.

That's how my vision for Arora Wellness was born -- a health coaching practice where I can help other women like me find a sense of balance or a sense of working towards something bigger. It's a completely individualized approach because I know that balance is personal.  It's first about defining what that means for you, and then finding small, sustainable ways to make lifestyle changes for the good.  Changes for yourself, for your family, and for others around you.  Through my journey, I came across the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and I became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.  My eyes were opened to a whole new world in wellness.  It wasn't just about exercise and trying to eat well - it was so much more.  Those things are of course important, and what you eat really is who you are, but health is also your state of mind, your career, your relationships, your spirituality, and everything in between.

Then, I found that health coaching was only scratching the surface of wellness, and there was so much MORE to the body.  I was tired of getting band-aide solutions from doctors who spent about 5 minutes with me at each visit, and I knew many women felt the same.  That's when I decided to dive into Functional Medicine - the practice of finding root causes of dis-ease and imbalance in the body, and working to correct those root issues with all the downstream consequences.  I became fully certified as an Applied Functional Medicine Health Coach in 2023.  I've been working with Functional Medicine doctor's practices since 2021 - coaching patients to achieve optimal wellness by reversing disease dynamics at the root.  At the end of 2024, I  decided to focus solely on private clients because I know the gap that currently exists in healthcare for women in the perimenopausal, menopausal, and post-menopausal years of life.  In July 2025, I completed my Menopause Specialist Coaching Certification and am ready to help guide women in this stage of life.  There is so much we can do through diet, lifestyle, supplementation and medication to THRIVE in this span of life, and I am committed to helping women do that.

Health, like life, is definitely a journey...one that I believe we could all use a little help on in terms of finding more balance.  If you are ready to give it a try, schedule a consultation with me and let's bring your best self to the world!
