Slow Cooker Game-day Turkey Chili

Ingredients

  • olive oil for cooking
  • 1 lb ground turkey (organic)
  • 1 can low sodium tomato soup
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed
  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed
  • 1/2 medium sized onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (spiciness to taste)
  • sprinkle of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • a pinch of all spice
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1.  Heat olive oil in medium pot and brown ground turkey.
  2.  In slow cooker, add tomato soup, rinsed black beans and kidney beans.  Add cooked ground turkey.
  3.  Chop onion, add to slow cooker, then add all spices.  Stir well.
  4.  Cook on high for 4 hours.

Enjoy! Serve with a dollop of greek yogurt (or sour cream) and some cheese if desired!
